Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston’s full name is Whitney Elizabeth Houston. She was born in Newark, NJ, on August 9, 1963 into a family of musicians: her mother, Cissy Houston, for example, was gospel/R&B singer, and her cousin, Dionne Warwick was also a musician. Whitney herself showed an early interest in music, her talent was obvious, no one could deny that.

As an eleven-year old girl Whitney Houston sang in the junior gospel choir at her Baptist church. When in her teens she performed with her mother during her concerts.
