Skunk Anansie

The British group Skunk Anansie was founded by Skin (vocals) in the early 90’s. The band gave its first concert in 1994 in London's Splash club. The same year Skunk Anansie released its first full-length album entitled Paranoid and Sunburnt.

Skunk Anansie’s debut album became rather popular in the United Kingdom. The "Selling Jesus" song became the 1996’s Strange Days; Stoosh movie soundtrack. In 1999 the group produced its second full-length album called Post Orgasmic Chill. Two years later Skunk Anansie split.
