Whitesnake

Whitesnake is known to be formed by ex-member of such popular band as Deep Purple David Coverdale in 1977. The band specialized in heavy earsplitting music, namely in hard rock and heavy metal. The band became popular allover the world, especially in such countries as Japan, and those of Europe. The band issued a great amount of real hits, which topped the charts.

Whitesnake’s Slide It In became rather popular and went platinum. After that the band issued their self-titled effort which was also a success. Whitesnake did not work regularly: for example, one of its members, vocalist David Coverdale, did not take part in the band’s activities for his daughter was ill, so he took some time to take care of her. But in 1984 the musician returned to the band. After that the band was even more successful for now they sounded loudly, as if they were full of energy and power.

Whitesnake’s leader, vocalist David Coverdale also tried to make a solo career of his own. After three successful albums of the band in the end of the 90th he issued his debut album which was called Coverdale's Into the Light and was issued in September of 2000. The album was considered to be a success, and featured such musician as guitarist Earl Slick.
