Sonny Landreth was born February 1, 1951, in Canton, MS. Even as a youngster she was under a great influence of Scotty Moore, the guitarist from Elvis Presley's band. His most famous albums are Blues Attack released in 1981 on the Blues Unlimited label and Way Down issued in 1985 in Louisiana.
Sonny Landreth made a world of tours cooperating with John Hiatt, John Mayall and pianist Allen Toussaint who couldn’t be indifferent to the musician’s album releasedin 1985, and so they offered him partnership. Sonny’s albums for Zoo are also known, known as full of natural sounds and melody.
