The Twilight Singers is an outfit which comprised musicians from other popular bands - Harold Chichester of Howlin' Maggie and Shawn Smith of Brad, Screaming Trees' Barrett Martin and a group of New Orleans session musicians in 1997 and so on. Actually the band was organized by Afghan Whigs frontman Greg Dulli who is known for some solo projects.
The Twilight Singers became more popular after they signed a contract with Columbia Records. They are known for such releases as Blackberry Belle, She Loves You, 2006's Powder Burns (album), and many others. The lion part of the band’s hits was issued in producer Mike Napolitano's studio in New Orleans.
