Split Lip Rayfield

The post-punk band called Split Lip Rayfield was founded in Kansas by such musicianc as David Lawrence (singer and banjo player), Jeff Eaton (bassist), and Kirk Rundstrom (guitarist). In 1998 the the Bloodshot label released their first full-length eponymous album. The following year Split Lip Rayfield issued its second LP entitled In the Mud.

At the end of the 90’s David Lawrence left Split Lip Rayfield and Eric Mardis replaced him, besides, Wayne Gottstine (vocalist and mandolin player) entered the band. In 2000 the new lineup released the full-length called Never Make It Home. The Should Have Seen It Coming followed four years later.
