Tomahawk

He band called Tomahawk was founded by Mike Patton (former Mr. Bungle and Fantomas singer), Duane Denison (ex-guitarist of such bands like Hank Williams III and Jesus Lizard), Kevin Rutmanis (bass), and ex-drummer of Helmet and Mark of Cain. First the group signed the professional contract with Patton’s own label called Ipecac.

In the early 2000’s Tomahawk recorded and released its first full-length eponymous album, which was issued on the Ipecac label. The record was produced by Joe "Jerry" Reed and Emmylou Harris. The LP became rather popular and commercially successful, and soon after its releasing Tomahawk went on concert tour to promote the record.
