Toad the Wet Sprocket

Toad the Wet Sprocket was founded by Glen Phillips (vocals), Dean Dinning (bass), Todd Nichols (guitar), and Randy Guss (drums) in the middle 80’s in Santa Barbara, California. In 1988 the group released its first full-length album entitled Bread and Circus. The LP became rather successful and earned for the band professional record contract with the Columbia label.

Toad the Wet Sprocket’s second record called Pale appeared in 1990, it was produced by Marvin Etzioni. The full-length Fear was issued the following year, the track "Walk on the Ocean" became a real hit and sent the LP to the top of charts. Besides in the 90’s Toad the Wet Sprocket released In Light Syrup (1995), Greatest Hits (1998), and P.S.: A Toad Retrospective (1999).
