Sting

Sting became popular performing in the famous group called Police. In 1984 the band split and the artist began his solo career. His first full-length solo album entitled The Dream of the Blue Turtles was issued in 1985. It was recorded with help of such artists as Kenny Kirkland, Omar Hakim, and Branford Marsalis. The album had a great success both in the U.S and England.

In 1987 Sting released his second full-length LP, Nothing Like the Sun. In the 90’s he produced The Soul Cages (1991), Ten Summoner's Tales (1993), Fields of Gold: The Best of Sting (1994), Mercury Falling (1996), Brand New Day (1999). The full-length entitled Sacred Love followed in 2003.
