Tonéx is known as a singer, songwriter and producer who is especially popular with the youth rather than that of adult population. The musician specializes in Christian music and is considered to be one of the most prospered ones in this particular music style. He is of ten compared with Prince, but he also succeeded in R&B.
Tonéx debuted with his first R&B creation in 2000 signing a contract with the Verity Records compilation WOW Gospel. And in September 2000 the musician introduced issued Pronounced Toe-nay on Jive (his solo debut). In 2001 one more composition emerged which was called Hostile Takeover and supported the success of the previous recording.
