The punk band called Total Chaos was founded in Riverside, CA in the late 80’s.The original lineup consisted of Rob Chaos (vocals), Joe E. Bastard (bass), Gary Doom (guitar), and Gearbox (drums). The group’s first album called We Are the Punx, We Are the Future was recorded and released soon after its founding. After its issuing Doom was replaced by Ronald McMurder.
In the early 90’s Total Chaos signed the music contract with the Epitaph label, which released the band’s second album, Pledge of Defiance, in 1995. The record was followed by Patriotic Shock the next year. Also in the middle 90’s the group issued the Anthems from the Alleyway album. The full-length In God We Kill followed in 1999, and Punk Invasion appeared in 2001.
