Skinlab

The metal group called Skinlab appeared in San Francisco in the middle 90’s. The band consisted of such musicians as Steev Esquivel (vocals and bass), Gary Wendt (guitar), Mike Roberts (guitar), and Paul Hopkins (drums). They the music contract with Century Media, which released the band’s first full-length album, Bound, in 1997.

After producing Skinlab’s debut album Wendt and Mike left the group, they were replaced by Scott Sargeant (ex-Laaz Rockit member) and Snake (former Skrew guitarist). Skinlab issued its second full-length named Disembody: The New Flesh in 1999. Three years later the Revolting Room appeared, the record was produced by Steve Evetts.
